What Works

Looking for information from others in the field about practices that they've used to improve access to benefits for low-income seniors and younger adults with disabilities in their community/state?

We offer two types of resources that may be of interest to you.

  1. Our case study series offers in-depth examples of success stories at the federal, state, and local level related to improving benefits outreach and enrollment, as well as individual success stories of clients who have received assistance.
  2. Our Promising Practices Clearinghouse provides brief summaries of activities used by in the areas of outreach and connection, identification of eligible populations, and application assistance that may be replicable in other contexts.

If you've got a story or promising practice to share, please contact Brandy Bauer, Communications Associate, at brandy.bauer@ncoa.org or submit information using our form.
