"We helped the Martis family complete an online BenefitsCheckUp questionnaire a year ago that ultimately brought them nearly $18,000 in rent relief, an emergency call button and an aide who tends to Martis' mother five days a week. Without the help, Martis would not have been able to help her mother stay in her home."

What Information is Collected and How Is It Used?
The Web Site may collect personally identifiable information ("Personal Data") from you through several types of electronic transactions including registering with the Web Site to participate in our sponsored programs, electronic newsletters, promising practices database, contact forms and participating in online registration and webinars.
While NCOA encourages participants to share personal experiences and opinions, doing so is entirely voluntary and you are not obligated to disclose anything about yourself. Only those individuals responsible for managing, overseeing and administering the Web Site, and those to whom you have given consent will be able to view your actual name and contact information.
Links to Other Sites
The Web site does collect information from you that is not personally identifiable. For example, we track information about the date and time visitors access the site, the type of Web browser they used, and the Web site from which they connected to our site. In addition, NCOA may combine, in a non-identifiable format, Personal Data you provide with information from other users to create aggregate data that may be disclosed to third parties and used by NCOA for any lawful purpose, including for research and educational materials. Aggregate data does not contain any personal identifiers that could be used to contact or identify you, such as name, address, or telephone number.
The Web Site has security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We use a variety of measures to secure web servers, networks, host operating systems and databases and protect Personal Data from misuse and disclosure. Despite these efforts, no security measures are foolproof and NCOA cannot guarantee the security or integrity of information you disclose online since there is always some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way around our security systems or intercept transmissions of information over the Internet.
The Web Site is not designed to attract or be used by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 unless we first obtain permission from that child's parent or legal guardian.
